The Annual Imbizo is a two-day music extravaganza celebrating Deep House and Dance Music, attracting a diverse audience aged 18 and above from all backgrounds. Featuring top DJs from across South Africa and internationally, the event delivers an intimate and electrifying musical experience.
Originally launched as a house party a decade ago, Imbizo has since grown into a cultural movement centered around music, networking, and community. Hosted in Charlestown/Volksrust, the event is organized in partnership with the Charlestown Community Trust, ensuring strong local involvement.
Beyond the music, Imbizo holds a deeper purpose—it coincides with World AIDS Day, aiming to raise awareness and foster discussions around HIV/AIDS within the community.
